The Arizona Aces Baseball Club is dedicated to providing young athletes a unique opportunity to take their game to the next level. AZA teams, clinics, and private lessons feature age-specific sessions with instruction specially tailored for each athletes ability level. With AZA your player will build solid fundamentals, improve skill levels, and make their next season the best one yet.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help young players develop solid fundamentals and learn proper techniques at a young age. We provide young players a unique opportunity to take their game to the next level with camps designed to develop skills in all facets of the game.

Players of all ability levels will be challenged with specific skill instruction and drill work throughout our camps. Drill progressions will be focused on developing good habits while improving overall baseball skills. Each camp will offer 60 or 90 minute sessions each week covering the skills of pitching, hitting, catching, fielding, and base-running.

Arizona Aces Baseball Club is the perfect choice to help your player learn, improve performance, and achieve goals in a fun, professional environment.

Small Group Clinics

Customized practice and activities for a small group of athletes, dedicated to either pitching, hitting, fielding, or catching.

Private Lessons

AZA private lessons feature instruction specially tailored for each athletes ability level and unique needs.

Meet the Team

  • Paco Rodriguez

    COACH

    Steven Francis "Paco" Rodríguez (born April 16, 1991) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Prior to playing professionally, Rodriguez attended the University of Florida, where he played college baseball for the Florida Gators. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Minnesota Twins, Sugar Land Space Cowboys (Skeeters), and the San Diego Padres.

  • Ryan Frankel

    COACH

    Ryan Frankel played varsity baseball at Horizon High School before attending Marymount California University on a baseball and academic scholarship and played there his Freshman year. He then transferred to Benedictine University at Mesa for his Sophomore season before transferring to Arizona State University for his final 2 years of college where he joined the club baseball team and was named team captain. Upon graduation, Ryan got the opportunity to play independent professional baseball in the Southern Shores League as well as with the Philippines National Team

  • Peterson Plaz

    COACH

    Peterson Plaz is a Venezuelan former professional baseball player. Plaz signed with the Cincinnati Reds in 2015 and spent six years playing professionally across multiple Reds affiliate teams in the Dominican and U.S. He played in a total of 173 minor-league games as an left-handed OF with the Reds organization. Since his departure as a player, Plaz has spent time as a minor-league coach with the ACL Chicago Cubs, the Dayton Dragons (High-A Reds Minor League Affiliate), and is now currently the Hitting Coach for the ACL Reds here in Goodyear, AZ.
